Rad Racks provides a 2-year warranty from date-of-purchase to the original purchaser.

Rad Racks warranty covers any and all original manufacturers defects in material or workmanship of the rack's metal components. The warranty is void when used for anything beyond the rack's intended design purpose. Warranty does not cover defects beyond Rad Racks control. This includes, but is not limited to, the following; mis-use of rack, overloading, modifying, used on a recreational vehicle, failure to assemble correctly, failure to secure items, theft, or standard wear-and-tear on rack parts or components. In no event shall Rad Racks be liable for incidental or consequential damages. This warranty is non-transferrable.

Rad Racks offers free assembly on all pickup orders. Our warehouse is based in Langley, BC, Canada. Please allow 2-4 business days to have your order ready for pickup.

Shipping is free for all Canadian customers. For US & International shipments, cost & carrier varies by shipping zone. Typical bike rack shipping cost ranges between $125-$195, and items will be delivered in two separate boxes, unassembled. For context, I drive a Toyota Alphard (minivan) and ride a slack XL hardtail.

Overall, the rack has been great thus far. It is easy to build, easy to load bikes onto, and solid. When empty, it is easy to tilt to access the rear hatch of the van.

Since my hitch is low and my bike is long, I cannot open the hatch fully while there are bikes loaded (I resorted to putting a shoe between the hatch and the rack to prevent scratching). This is probably not an issue for most setups. The RAD4 does seem to be a bit more truck-oriented. I had to buy another pin to prevent the rack from swinging forward and hitting the rear window once the main pin was removed. Luckily, there was a perfect extra hole in the main assembly, and now I can sleep at night. A last and minor grievance is that this is a Canadian company making bike products, but the hardware is in SAE. It'd be nice to see some metric.

Customer service was fantastic.

Picked up my RAD5 in July 2026 in Langley. Colton was awesome and installed the rack on my 2013 Highlander. So far the rack has been awesome. It is well built-solid and sturdy. Rack sway is minimal. The powdercoat finish is nicely done. Mostly I haul 27.5-29" MTBs and occasionally road bikes and so far loading has been easy and I haven't had to play "Tetris." I highly recommend Rad Racks!
