The P2 Max is the ultimate e-bike platform bike rack. With weight capabilities of up to 100lbs per tray (200lbs total), a built-in bike ramp for easy-loading, and integrated wheel stabilizers & straps, the P2 Max is unmatched for heavy bike transportation.

Rad Racks warranty covers any and all original manufacturers defects in material or workmanship of the rack's metal components. The warranty is void when used for anything beyond the rack's intended design purpose. Warranty does not cover defects beyond Rad Racks control. This includes, but is not limited to, the following; mis-use of rack, overloading, modifying, used on a recreational vehicle, failure to assemble correctly, failure to secure items, theft, or standard wear-and-tear on rack parts or components. In no event shall Rad Racks be liable for incidental or consequential damages. This warranty is non-transferrable.

Shipping is free for all Canadian customers. For US & International shipments, cost & carrier varies by shipping zone. Typical bike rack shipping cost ranges between $125-$195, arrives in 3-7 business days, and items will be delivered unassembled. Great rack. Easy to use and handles our 2 heavy ebikes. Good quality construction.

Solid well built and wast to install.

Rack assembly was great all pieces fit as they should. No forcing parts together. Loading bikes with ramp is very easy and wheel chocks and claps are easily adjusted and secured. Also like that there is no frame contact. So no paint scuffs or wear marks. Removal and storage are also very convenient. The most solid and secure rack that I was able to find to carry our E Bikes

Easy to use ramp that slides into the tray so you don’t even know it’s there.

We absolutely LOVE this bike rack. It is extremely well made and easy to use. Our E-bikes are loaded with ease in seconds using the built in ramp. Each of our bikes weighs 70lbs, and this rack fully handles the weight without any wobble or stress. Would highly recommend this bike rack.

What kind of hitch does it need?

Hi Louise! Due to the high carrying capacity, the P2 Max is designed for 2" hitch inserts only.

Hi would the 2 inch hitch have the expansion turn handle like the Tule? This is what takes the slop out of the hitch connection.

Hi Ed! Yes the P2 Max comes with an expandable anti-rattle integrated into the hitch. This means no slop and your rack will be rock solid.

Is the Rad p2 max RV motorhome rated

Hi Steve! The P2 Max is approved for motorized RVs with a rear overhang of maximum 7.5' feet. When on motorized RV, the carrying capacity is reduced by 40% meaning you can carry 60lbs per tray.

Just received my P2 Max. Waiting for the appropriate hitch for my car. My question is, can I leave the rack on my vehicle? Is it easy to be stolen? What's other ways to lock it? Thanks

Hi Benny - happy to hear you received your order! The bike rack comes with a vehicle lock & keyset to prevent rack theft; this lock will mount directly to your anti-rattle which is located at the hitch.

Why is the warranty no good with an RV? I was thinking of getting one but wont now unless that changes

Hi Bernie, the P2 Max is rated to be used on motorized RVs with up-to 7.5' of rear overhang and will not void warranty.

Does this work only with e-bikes? Or can I put gravel (45 wide tires) and road bike too. Is there a minimum tire with?

Hi Paul! Yes the P2 Max can carry road bikes with tires as small as 19mm width.

What if your tires are 16 inches?

Hi Holly! The P2 Max & Pro are only capable of carrying 20" and larger tires. For 16" tire bikes, the load arms risk being in contact with the bikes handle bars or seat, and cannot safely secure the bike in position unless you use additional tie-down straps.

The P2 Max works with all bike models including road bikes, mountain bikes, fat tire bikes, and e-bikes up to 100lbs. Wheel sizes from 20" to 29" and tires up to 5" wide.

Yes. The P2 Max accommodates tires up to 5" wide, so fat tire bikes fit without any issue.

Yes, as long as your fenders don't extend past the 2 o'clock position on the wheel. If your fenders are longer, you can place foam (like a pool noodle) on the bar to protect them from denting while still holding your bike securely in place. For DIY instructions, Click Here to view.

All P2 Max's come with one ramp. The reason we provide only one ramp is to help keep the overall product weight down.

The ramp is interchangeable and can be used on either side of the rack.

The P2 Max can be used on motorized RVs with a maximum distance of 7.5' from rear axle to hitch. When used on RVs, total carrying capacity limits are reduced by 40%.

All tray bikes racks come with an integrated anti-rattle system to stop unwanted wobbles in your hitch. All you do is insert the thru-bolt provided, tighten with wrench, and the hitch expands to stop both vertical and horizontal motions.

The anti-rattle system also comes with a lock and key set for theft-prevention.
